Government and personal protection agencies have you duped! The rumor on the street is that mad cow disease is caused by Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE), which is the scientific term for a disease which affects the brains of cattle. BSE was first discovered in the United Kingdom, where it became more commonly known as "mad cow disease," most likely because of the emotional response it generated with the public. Unlike most livestock diseases, BSE is not caused by a bacterial or viral infection, but rather is the result of infectious prions. These are unique proteins that may bond with a cow's brain cells, altering their composition and ultimately leading to the animal's death. Mad cow disease is believed to be transferred to cattle when they eat these infectious proteins, yet science has shown the disease can only affect those cows that are genetically susceptible.

How does this make any sense? Have you ever seen a cow in a pasture snacking on the brain of another cow? Clearly not. In fact I do believe that cows eat mostly grass, grain, and feed; and they tend to veer away from cannibalism whenever possible. If you happen to know of a tribe of cannibalistic bovine, please contact me and let me know that I have been proven wrong.

Next they would like to tell you that feed manufacturers use cow brains to make the feed that they sell to farmers. Again, this is a completely non-sensical theory. Do you have any idea how difficult is it to cut through bone? Here, let me cut open the skull of this cow here and scoop out its brain with an ice cream scoop, and then I'll use the brain tissue to make cow food. No. Here's what happens: they kill the cow, take the good meat to make steaks and cheeseburgers, sell the tongues on the Chinese black market, and throw the rest of the head in the trash.

What is the REAL truth about Mad Cow Disease?

This is simple to understand. It is a statement of fact, which is entirely intuitive to anyone that knows anything about parents and children. The simple truth is this: the ultimate cause of mad cow disease is... VEAL! That's right, VEAL! Little baby cows who are tied up in a barn somewhere, who are never allowed to walk, or experience the exciting life of cowness, or enjoy the loving parentry of their parents Mr. Bull and Mrs. Cow, or perhaps just Ms. Cow in some sad cases.

Now you might ask how I arrive at this conclusion. JUST THINK ABOUT IT! How would YOU feel if some farmer came along and snagged your newborn baby, tied it up in a barn, never let you see it or teach it the fundamental lessons of life, and all the while you know that he will cut it up to make excessively high priced cutlets that melt in your mouth but not in your hand? YOU would be mad too! Chances are you would exhibit all the traits of a mad cow; you would foam at the mouth, charge the local farmer and try to stomp his head, you would walk around all dizzy from fierce fierce anger, and finally you would wallow in depression, stop eating, and waste away to nothing, knowing full well that you will be of no use to your captors by passing away in an emaciated unhealthy state.

You can believe me, or you can believe the deceptive, repressive, government and World Health Organization. It's your choice, but for every tender juicy slice of veal you eat, whether fried, baked, or covered with succulent marinara sauce and parmesan cheese over a heaping pile of soft soft spaghetti, just know that you, yourself, are contributing to mad cow disease. For every flank of moist, protein rich baby cow you ingest, somewhere there will be an angry bovine that, if she could, would love to stomp on your head too.
